2019 is filled with exciting news for us at Cal Reiet. We’re currently working on several projects that we will be thrilled to share with all of you as soon as we can. And one of the projects we were looking forward the most is our Summer Yoga Academy.
At Cal Reiet we firmly believe yoga can change lives. Its power, its depth and its invitation to empathize make it a powerful tool to go through life with a completely different vision.
As you already know, at all our retreats we introduce our guests to yoga practice and help advance ‘yoguis’ to improve their skills. And as we’ve seen many guests and also visitors become alive through yoga practice, we thought of doing something very special this year. Summer at Cal Reiet will also bring our very first ‘Yoga Academy’. Specialized teachers from all over the world will join us to offer classes for retreat guests, Cal Reiet visitors and everyone interested in yoga and its many benefits for your mental and physical health.
We will kick off our Summer Yoga Academy with Manuela Peverelli from July, the 1st until July, the 11th, who will be joining us directly from Zurich to share her knowledge with all of us. Manuela’s approach to yoga and life is deeply influenced by the Vedic and Buddhist philosophy. Her teaching is dynamic and powerful and we are looking forward to having her in Mallorca!
After Manuela, we welcome Michael Hamilton from the 12th until the 26th of July, who teaches internal alignment through the practices of yoga. With an eye for detail, a concern for safety, a love of ancient wisdom and the belief in beginner’s mind he acts as a spiritual friend to fellow travellers on the path.
Heidi Aemisegger from Bern will be visiting Cal Reiet after Michael from the 26th of July until the 9th of August. Dhyāyinī / Heidi is an experienced Ashtanga and Jivamukti yoga teacher. For many years she has studied with the world-famous pranayama teachers Sri O.P. Tiwari and Paul Dallaghan. Both teachers contributed to their broad knowledge and understanding of breathing practice.
Next on our list of superb yoga teachers we have Petra Bensland, a well-known friendly face and founder at Cal Reiet and Yoga Elements Zürichsee, who will be teaching from the 9th until the 19th of August. When she started yoga back in 2009 she was looking for a balance in a hectic life. Her passion took her to India in 2011, where she attended an intensive Ashtanga Vinyasa seminar. After this, she never stopped learning, teaching and getting new certificates only to include elements of pranayama, meditation and hatha flow in her lessons.
Last, but not least, we will have a spectacular finale from the 19th until the 28th of August with Nabs Hadi, who is based in United Kingdom but travels all over the globe to teach yoga. He established his Ashtanga Yoga classes following years of dedicated practice and training with some of the worlds leading Yoga teachers. Having travelled the world to educate himself on Yoga’s true hidden mysteries Nabs’ final call was to India, the spiritual home of Yoga, before his official certification as a qualified teacher by Paul Dallaghan at the famous Samahita Yoga Retreat in Thailand and Sri O.P.
Now that you’ve met each one of the marvellous teachers that will be joining us this Summer at Cal Reiet, we sure hope to see you around in July and August. Stay tuned, as soon you will be able to book your yoga lessons at the Summer Yoga Academy directly on our web!
