Healthy recipes by Cal Reiet: Vegan Banana bread

There are MANY banana bread recipes out there. And at Cal Reiet we are really fond of banana bread, so we have, of course, created our own (and very yummy) vegan banana bread recipe. With this recipe we will give your mornings (and mid-days and afternoons) an extra reason to be delicious. So here we go!

Ingredients:
2 C whole spellet flour (you can use any capuccino cup, don’t worry)
¾ C of coconut sugar
½ C of coconut oil (or sunflowerseed oil if you prefer a more delicated
   taste)
6 ripe bananas
3 Medjoul dates
10 walnuts (optional)
¼ tsp marine salt
1 small tsp sodium bicarbonate

Preparation:
Pre heat the oven at 180 º

In a food processor mix:
Flour + coconut sugar + oil + marine salt + sodium bicarbonate
Add the cut bananas + the dates + the walnuts
Pour the mix in a plum cake shape lined with baking paper
Cut a banana in two long halfs and place on the top of the mixture
Bake at 180 º for 1 hour
