The most stunning beaches in Mallorca’s Southeast

When staying at Cal Reiet you’ll be staying in one of Mallorca’s most beautiful areas: its Southeast. Known for its breath-taking landscape and impressive beaches, the area surrounding our holistic retreat hides some of the authentic Mediterranean beaches this island is famous for.

At Cal Reiet we are always thinking of different and new ways to add something extra special to your stay, which is why today we would like to share some insider tips about the beaches we are lucky enough to have in the area.

Discover Mallorca’s most stunning beaches

Es Trenc: Mallorca’s response to the Caribbean. Es Trenc is a paradisiac virgin beach offering a peaceful Majorcan experience. With 2 kilometres golden sand and crystal clear water, it’s one of those beaches to spend a whole day at, because of its infinite beauty and its unique feel.

Es Trenc

This is a non-official nudist beach and as it is not attached to any resort, you’ll find only a few services such as parasol and sunbeds to rent and a couple of beach bars and restaurants.

Es Carbó: A beach to get away. Es Carbó isn’t an easy beach to reach. You can either walk about 30 minutes from Colonia de Sant Jordi to get there or arrive by boat. Because of its remoteness, Es Carbó has a natural feel and offers quiet and peace for a day at the beach.

Es Carbo

It is completely lacking any facilities and it will definitely give you a glimpse of the 100% authentic Mallorca.

Es Caragol: Rocks & sand in middle of nature. Es Caragol also has remote access, as you will have to walk about 30 minutes from the lighthouse in Ses Salines to reach it.

Es Caragol

Due to this difficulty, it is a beach that remains quiet even in summer! It is surrounded by rocks, but also has a long sandy beach for you to set up your beach camp.

Caló d’es Moro: As Mediterranean as it gets. Caló d’es Moro just has Mallorca all written over it. It is a beautiful and protected cove with a very small beach area (in Summer it’s really busy!).

Calo des moro

Its stunning turquoise water surrounded by magnificent cliffs and pine trees give it that picture-perfect Majorcan look to fall in love with!

Cala Mondragó: Beautiful cove within a natural park. This unspoilt cove in the south east of Mallorca is located within the Mondrago Natural Park, which means that it is protected from development, offering a stunning natural landscape.

Cala Mondrago

There are sun loungers and parasols to rent at the beach, in addition to a beach bar to have something refreshing after spending several hours soaking up the Majorcan sun.

If you need directions or have any further question about these or other beaches and coves in the area, please don’t hesitate to approach the front desk at Cal Reiet, as we will be pleased to help you!
