Garuda is a new way to enjoy movement and not just exercise!
The name Garuda comes from an Indian mythological sacred bird that can change shape according to its function. Garuda helps every individual to move their body both more intelligent and effective, but also, to help us find an intuitive way to exercise with awareness.
Combining breathing, movement and awareness, Garuda will fit our needs to be aware of the balance between all different aspects.
A quick way to describe the movements is if you combine yoga, pilates with dance. Add everything you know about the fascia. This is like a tight “stocking” surrounding your body, and that needs to be stretched and lengthened, especially when you have had an injury but also along with turning older.
This is the third year we come to Cal Reiet and more than half of our guests have returned every year. I am most grateful to welcome everyone again.
