Book review: Tim Ferriss “The Four Hour Chef”

What I really enjoy about the authors writing is his humor and also concise nailing down of a particular subject matter…his style is in a way that is accessible to all. The author is well known for his “meta-learning process,” which is a step-by-step process of eliminating un-necessary energy. The cooking book of his series is very creative and the suggestions are often obscure, like preparing fish in a bathroom sink.

This book series is very driven towards the millennial, those who find themselves in the though of multi-tasking as a part of there lives, who need some direction towards simplicity, but yet wanting an edge.

I enjoyed this book, but it probably isn’t the book for a serious academic, again filled with humor, it’s a good foundation for setting into the notions of cooking, but if you are serious about learning to cook, this might not be my first choice of reads…

For me… someone who has been around the kitchen for many years I found some great laughs in the book, my suggestion this book is a easy great summer read for the beach.
