Meet the Cal Reiet Team: this is Marga

My name is Marga, and I am from Mallorca, also known as “Km0” by my colleague Valentina because in the hotel we are trying to use as many “Km0” (local) things as possible – and as the team is international, I am from the island, even form a little village.

I’ve been working for many summers at my family’s bakery, and once I have finished my studies of Social Education and Integration I needed to take a break from this “world” – so I decided to work temporarily in the hotel sector. The first time I have heard of Cal Reiet was from a friend who discovered this place, she told me what kind of hotel it was and all the things they were doing here. And due to my interest in yoga, vegan and healthy food and to be surrounded by nature and calm, right away I thought: I want to work there! And here I am, in my third season working at this amazing place, where I am part of the waiters team. You can find me during breakfast and lunchtime – always with amazing food to offer you.

And I just can say that I am very glad to work here where I am feeling like at home, where my colleagues have become my friends, my family, my teachers… And every time someone asks me where I work I always start with: “I work in a very special place…”
