Hiking trails for an autumn escape to Mallorca  - Cal Reiet

When summer fades, Mallorca reveals a different kind of magic. Autumn brings gentle sunshine, cooler breezes and golden light, ideal conditions for exploring the island on foot. The south of Mallorca, with its quiet coves and rural landscapes, is especially inviting. Here the Mediterranean shows its most authentic side: peaceful paths lined with stone walls, almond trees and sweeping views of the sea.

If you’re staying with us, these three trails capture the essence of the season:

Mondragó Natural Park – hike in nature

Just a short drive from Cal Reiet, this protected area offers a network of coastal paths linking Cala Mondragó, S’Amarador and hidden rocky inlets. At the entrance you’ll find information about the different hikes and coves you can visit. Stroll through pine forests scented with the sea and enjoy easy, scenic walks that suit any level.

Hike from Cala Llombards to Caló des Moro

A classic coastal route that rewards you with two of Mallorca’s most beautiful coves. The moderate trail winds along dramatic cliffs, with turquoise water below and plenty of spots to pause for a quiet moment or a picnic.

Go from Santanyí to Es Pontàs

Starting in the village of Santanyí, home to Cal Reiet, head south toward the natural stone arch of Es Pontàs. The path meanders through farmland and ends with breathtaking views of this iconic rock formation, especially striking at sunset.

After a day on the trails, return to Cal Reiet, a sanctuary of calm where you can stretch in a yoga class, enjoy a plant-based dinner at Cal Reiet’s Table, and let the island’s tranquil energy guide you into the evening. Autumn in Mallorca is made for unhurried discovery, and Cal Reiet is the perfect home base for it all.
