Together we will explore the sensation of freedom of movement through yoga; the physical enjoyment derived from visual natural beauty, touch, taste, sound; walking and connecting with nature; embracing new experiences; holistic treatments; uplifting live music; the companionship of friends, new and old; and above all laughter. Madeleine is an English yoga teacher who found yoga in her early 40s following a career in the highly pressurised corporate world. She has also trained as an actress and worked as a VoiceOver artist, skills which have enable her to bring a clear delivery to her yoga teachings.
Since qualifying as a vinyasa yoga teacher in 2019 in London, Madeleine’s aim has been to make yoga accessible to a wider audience and encourage her clients to see yoga as a fundamental part of the ageing well process, so that they can continue doing tomorrow what they do enjoy doing today to fulfill the promise of a better second half. She has continued her training in Mallorca to offer yin yoga, for a deeper experience, physically and mentally; as well further studies in anatomy and the rehabilitation benefits of targeted stretching to support her clients. She also provides specialist tailored classes for people recovering from breast cancer working alongside qualified physiotherapists.
2026 will be Madeleine’s second year hosting retreats at Cal Reiet. Her first year was sold out with a waiting list.
